Hi, my name is Grayson Shepard and I am an Architecture and Engineering dual-major at the University of Texas at Austin graduating May 2022. I grew up in McKinney, TX with my parents and younger sister, who is also a longhorn.
I have wanted to be an architect since I was seven and I am constantly finding new avenues of opportunity within the industry. I hope to work with fellow architects, designers, engineers and citizens to create equitable, healthy, sustainable and meaningful spaces. Architects are leaders in society, wielding the power of design and holding the unique responsibility of physically shaping our world.
I just completed a 6 month internship in New York City and cannot wait to explore more cities around the world. Outside of school and work you might find me booking tickets to the next Broadway musical, sitting outside somewhere with my nose buried in Stephen King novel, or playing with my beautiful calico, Christine.
